Privacy Policy

Your photos are yours. Stillroom has no accounts of its own, advertising, or third-party analytics. We do not receive your photos or playback history.

Access to Your Photos

With your permission, Stillroom reads your Photos albums and images through Apple’s Photos framework. Photos stored in iCloud are downloaded through Apple’s services as needed for playback. Stillroom does not modify your library or export your original photos.

Information Stored on Your Apple TV

Stillroom saves playback settings, recently played albums, resume positions, and album-cover identifiers locally. Slideshow images are held in memory; Apple’s Photos framework manages its own caches. Stillroom also prepares album-cover thumbnails in its shared app storage for Apple TV Top Shelf.

iCloud Sync

On supported tvOS versions, recent album and resume information syncs through Apple’s iCloud key-value storage using your Apple Account. This includes album and photo identifiers, playback positions, ordering information, and timestamps. It is not sent to a Stillroom server.

Diagnostics

Diagnostic messages stay on your Apple TV and are not automatically uploaded. They include technical details about loading and playback; photo identifiers are represented by short one-way hashes. Local diagnostic files rotate to limit their size.

This Website

This website has no analytics scripts or forms. It loads styles and fonts from Bootstrap and Font Awesome CDNs and a support-button image from Buy Me a Coffee. Those providers, and any external links you choose to open, receive ordinary web requests under their own privacy policies.
